In regular session of the Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi there were present Trustees Black, Hale, Keeney, Crose and Montgomery. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Building permits were granted as follows: V. C. weber, addition to garage at 16 West Street. Pentecostal Assembly, dwelling lot 2, block 7, Barnhart Tract. E. J. Klessen, barn at 525 Flora Street. A'comrur_ication was received and ordered filed from League of California Municipalities askirg for a report of ail public work contem- plated by the City. Mrs. E. R. McClure requested the Board to extend the sewer and water systems to her property at 629 North Pleasant Avenue. Sup- erintendent Henning reported that the sewer extension would. serve five or six residences and could be installed for about #500. Upon motion of Trustee Montgomery, seconded by Trustee Crose, the Superintendent and City Engineer were instructed to proceed with the work. Upon motion of Trustee Crose the Superintendent was author- ized to purchase a lighting battery and search light for the City's new Ferd truck. Bills amounting to # having been passed by the Fin- ance Coreittee, were allowed and ordered paid. S. C. Bewley, W. E. Paust and Geo. W. LeMoi n of the Board of Health reported that the emergency hospital for influenza patients would be closed in a few days and that the expense amounted to approx- imateiy #3000, a part of which is to be borne by the County. It was believed a final report could be made by Wednesday, December 4th. Upon motion of Trustee Montgomery, seconded by Trustee ?.ale, the Board adjourned to meet again at 7:50 p.m. Wednesday, December 4th. Attest: City Cleric.
