The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi convened in regular session at 8 o'clock D. m., there being present Trustees Rale, Meeney, Crose and Montgomery. President of the Board Black being absent Trustee Hale was chosen to preside. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. The application of Charles Hamilton for appointment as deputy Marshal was received and ordered filed. E. Church for permit to build temporary addition to church the Clerk was instructed to secure new application and forward same to Non—War Construction Committee of the State Council of Defense. The application of Philip Seibel forermit to builda dwel— ling on lot 3, block 9, Barnhart Tract, to cost #500, was ordered referred to the State Council of Defense. P. 0. Rinde was granted permit to build addition to a dwel— ling at 406 West Oak Street, with the proviso that a filled or brick chimney be installed. Henry Streibel was granted permission to repair a private garage at 521 East Elm street. The application of E.K. Tompson for permit to build a pri— vate garage at 513 East Locust street was ordered referred to Non—War Construction Committee of the State Council of Defense. Rosa C. Green was granted permission to remove a building from lot 1, block 3, to a location outside the City Limits. W. H. Cutts was granted permission to repair a building dam— aged by fire at 210 North Stockton Street. Miscellaneous bills::amounting to $4308.7, having been passed by the Finace Committee, were allowed and ordered paid. The Board adjourned. Attest: City Clerk..
