In regular adjourned session of the Board of Trustees of the
City of Lodi held t_lis data there were present Trustees Black, Hale,
Keeney, Montgomery and Croke.

proved.

5An Ordinance Amending Section 2 of Ordinance Number 38, as
Amended by Ordinances Number 89 and 92,W was read and introduced for
passage and upon motion was laid on the table for not less than five
days.
The following resolution setting forth the intention of the
Board of Trustees to modify, c'r-erge, establish and re—establish the
grades of certain streets and avenues in the City of Lodi was read
and adopted:
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 17.
Resolved: By the Board of Trustees
of the City of Lodi: That it is the
intention of said Board to modify,
change, establish and re-establish
the grades of certain streets and
avenues in said city, in the manner
following, twit: To change, modi-
fy, establish and re-establish official
grades on the following streets. viz:
Oa Lee Avenue from the North line
of Lodi Avenue to the South line of
Locust Street.
On Locust Street from the East line
of Hutchins Street to the Eastern lim-
its of said city, being the West line
of Cherokee Lane.
So that such grades and the eleva
tions in feet and fractions of feet
above city base of levels at the points
hereinafter mentioned shall be as fol-
lows:
At the respective points of intersec-
tion of the eastern and western curb
lines of Lee Avenue, as hereinafter
fixed and specified, with the herein-
after mentioned lines of intersecting
streets. the curb grade and elevation

Absent: None.
Clark & Henry Construction Company petitioned the Board to
grant them an extension of 90 days time in which to complete their
contract, dated the filth da, of April, 1918, for the improvement of
North School street, from the North line of West Elm street to the
north City Limits: and the alley rurming east and west through block
14 in the City of Lodi.
Trustee Hale moved that the petition of Clark & Henry Construc-
tion_ Compaa>y for ninety days extension of time for the completion of
the improvement of North School street be granted, Trustee Cross
seconded the motion, and the sale was adopted by the affirmative
votes of all members of the Board.
C. E. Peters was granted per -fission to construct a dwalling on
lot 12, block,46, Ivory's Addition.
Upon motion of Trustee Montgomery, seconded by. Trustee Keeney,
the Board adjourned to meet again at 8 o'clock .m., aturday, Tune
