In regular adjourned session of the Board of Trustees of

of Lodi held this date there were present Trustees Fale,3ic"c k,
Reera,`,i,Teaver and ^olerdorf.
Minutes of the previous meeting r;;ere read ardapproved.
The time for receiving proposals for improvement of Forth
School Street haying been Set for 8 0'ci0ok this date, and no Protests
having been filed :with the City Clerk, bids were received from the
following: W. H. Paul, Adolth Telchert 1 Son and Clark s Ser:wry Con-
struction Conary.
It apPearing that the latter firm having presented the low-
est and bast bid the f0llowinz resolution .has introduced and and
adopted:
RESOLUTION Oa AWARD.

open session, or the 25th day of March, A. D. 1918, Publicly open,
examine and declare all Sealed proposals or bids for doing, certain
street work in said city, under and in pursuance of the "Improvement
Act of 1911," the names of the streets and highways -reposed to be

Trustees, adopted February 11, 1918, which Resolution of Intention is
hereby expressly referred to for further particulars. •

by a;8ards the contract for doing said work and improvement to the low-
est responsible bidder, to -wit:

its bid.
The City Clerk is hereby dirceted to post notice of this
award conspicuously for five days, on or near the chamber door of this
Board of 'trustees and also publish said notice twice in "The Lodi
Sentinel," a tri -weekly nes.spaier publishedµ nd circulated in said
city, and hereby deslsrated for that purposeby said Board.
Trustee Keeney moved, seconded by Trustee Po1er_dorf, the
adoption of the resolution as read, which motion was carried by the

Pire Chief Stark recuested the Board to increase the salary
of the two Assistants Chief from $$5 to X10 per month, which request
motion i upon
was + on of Trustee. Keeney, seconded by Trustee Black, Wanted,
said increase to be effective April 1, 1918.
Edward Kurtz was granted permit to construct a dwelling on
lot 1, block 2, Hutchins Oak street Addition.
Upon. motion ion of Trustee Keen e4 , seconded by Trustee Black,the
City Cleric was authorized to advertise for the pipe, hydrants, etc.,
necessary to extens water service and fire protection to the Lodi Can-
ning Compa_;y's ".fant, on Today street.
Upon motion of Trustee Black, regularly made, seconded and
carried it. was decided to open the Municipal Baths Priday, April 3th.
The Board adjourned.
