Consideration of proposals for furnishing electric motors

Trustee Folendorf moved, Seconded b': Trustee Keene, , that it
appearing that time of delivery on motors proposed is too Far distant
to serve the City's present :"meds, and that a larger motor is desirable,
that all bids on motors submitted under call of February 23d be rejected.
The ':lotion was ado"'ted by affirmative votes of all members Present.
Trustee Keeney --oved, seconded by Trustee Folend'orf, that the
ity ,"roceed to advertise for bids for furnishing one 125 H. P. :motor
or one 150 7. P. motor. The motion was adopted.
in compliance wit.i the provisions of the Public Health Act
of the State of California, the _following resolution was introduced,
read and adopted:
RE00L7TD, by the Board of Trustees of- the City of Lodi,that
pursuant and Subject to all the terms, conditions and provisions of the
Public Health Act of -the State of California, approved March 23d, 1907,
and all amendments thereto, application by this city be made to the
State Board of Health of the State of California, for a permit to con—
tinue to use existing sewer system and septic tank, discharging the
e`flujnt into irrigation titch of the Woodbridge Canal Company. Ditch
is forty feet wide, eizht feet deep and velocity of flow three. miles
per :_our. District served is entire city of Lodi; estimated popula—
tion 3800.
That the President of said Boari of Trustees be and _^e is
hereby authorized and directed to cause the necessary data to be pre—
pared, and investigations to be made, and in the nae of said City to

Ayes: Trees Hale, 'Mack, Keeney and Folendorf.

Y. Kodana was granted permission to construct addition to
a building at 28 :Torth Main street.
