HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - December 3, 1923City Hall, City oI Lod. Lonaay, December 3- 1923 The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi was called to order by President J. W. Shattuck at 8 o'clock PX. on the date and at the place first above written ; Trustees Hale, Hickok, Mettler, Spooner and Shattuck present. The minutes of the adjourned meeting of November 26th were read and approved without correction; Lrs P.G.Cary protested verbally against the removal of the triple arms from electroliers in the business section and the substitution of single units. Property owners having had ample time for protest and no other protests having been filed; iLrs Cary was informed that the work would proceed; W. S. Reese and J, R. Scott aidreosed the Board in the ratter of the rough condition of Central Avenue in the neigh- borhood of Vine Street: they were assured that this street would be put in as good condition_.as practicable after comp- letion of installing storm drains." This being the date set for the hearing of protests a7ainst the issuance of bonds to be secured by the ;unpaid asessments on a,shington Street,(R.I.63), the Board proceeded to find the amount of the unpaid assessments and determine the numbers and amounts of the bonds to be issued by the passage of RES:LDT'ION NO. 434 by the following vote: - AYES: Trustees, 1;:ettler,Hickok,Hale,Spooner,Shattuck; NOES: Trustees, None.
