lowing vote: -
AYES: Trustees, Spooner,Hickok,Mettler,Hale,Shattuck
NOES: Trustees, None. ABSENT: Trustees, NONE.
Four Building Permits, totalling $1,350 were granted on
motion of Trustee Mettler;
In the matter of the opening of Hutchins Street as undertak-
en under Resolution of intention No. 64, passed June 18, 1923, a
City Hall City of Lodi
Monday, September 17th., 1923;
The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees for the third
Monday in September was called to order by the President at 8
o'clock P.M. on the day and date and at the place first above writ-
ten, Trustees Hale, Hickok, Mettler, Spooner and Shattuck present.
None absent; -
The minutes of the regular meeting of September 3rd and the
adjourned meetings of September 4th and 5th were read and approved;
the Clerk reporting -that he had been unable to prepare the minutes
of the meetings of September llth and 12th in record form and ask-
ing that more time be allowed him. Hearing of these minutes was def -
fared until the meeting of October let.
The assessment for the improvement of Stockton Street as under-
taken and completed under Resolution of Intention No. 62 was approv-
ed, there being no protests filed, and a warrant ordered issued by
the passage of Resolution No; 421 by the following vote: -
AYES: Trustees, Hale,Hickok,Mettler,Spooner,Shattuck;
NOES: Trustees, None; ABSENT: Trustees, None;
The proposition of the Mayo Street Marking Machine Company to
remark parking lines for $150.00 as submitted by the Clerk was ref-
ferred to the Street Superintendent on motion of Trustee Mettler;
The Clerk wa.s authorized and directed to file formal notice
of t#e completion of the Sewage Disposal Plant with certain desig-
,�� date for the hearing of the protest of Martha Lind was fixed by
the passage of Resolution No. 423 by the following vote:
AYES: Trustees, Hale, Hickok Mettler, Spooner, Shattuck.
NOES: Trustees, None. ABSENT: Trustees, None;

On motion of Trustee Hickok the board adjourned.

RESOLUTION No. 423;
RESOLUTION FIXING TIME FOR HEARING ALILEGED OBJECTIONS
OF MARTHA LIND UNDER RESOLUTION OF INTENTION
NO. 64,
WHEREAS, on the 18th day of June 1923,the Board of Trustees
and City Council of the City of Lodi Sian Joaquin County,California,
duly gassed and adopted Resolution of Intention No. 64; and whereas
notices of the passage of said Resolution have been posted given
and published in all resnecta as required by lair and in alf reapecis
as recQ��ir�d by said Resolution of Intention • on August 8th 1923,
more t1�an ten days after the expiration of the time of biication
of said notice, one Martha Lind filed with the Clerk of -said
Board written objections to the work and improvements mentioned in
said Resolution of Intention and to all matters mentioned therein*
and whereas no written objection and no objection whatever was mWAG
within ten days after the expiration of the time of publication of
said notice-, which time of publication expired on or before July
27th.,1923;
NOW THEftWME, BE IT RESOLVED, by said Board of Trustes and
the City Council that said alleged objections of said Martha -'Lind
be and the same are hereby fixed for hearing before said City Coun-
oil and Board of Trustees, at the rem meeting place thereof,
upon the secon d floor of the Cit Taill Lodi San Joaquin County
California , upon the First ley of October, 1921 coimencing at
the hour of 8:30 o'clock in -the afternoon of said day.
BE IT FURTHR RESOLVED, that said Board of Trustees and
City Council does not hereby waive the fact that said written
objections of said Martha rind were not filed within the time
required by law, but said alleged ob1'ections are hereby set for
hearing so that said Board and City Council shall have full know-
ledge of•an complaints or objections whichsaid Martha Lind may
have against said work or improvement or any matter contained an
said resolution of intention.

Board of Trustees as set forth in the Records of said
Board at page 20 thereof)
