The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi was called to order at 8 o'clock P.M. on the date above written, President J.W.Shattuck presiding, Trustees Hale, ::ie:tler.and Shattuck present -Trustees Spooner &Hickok absent. The minutes of ;he adjourned regular meetings of December 20th, December 26th, January 2nd.,and January 8th were read and approved. P.E.Cord::ay asked that he be allowed to connect a pump in the Woman's Syndicate with the N.S.G. & E. Company's lines but was informed that if he set the motor in the City he would have to con- nect it with the City's lines. Cornelius Herb applied for the position as caretaker at thgr sewage disposal plant; application ordered filed. Secretary L.F.Barzellotti addressed a letter to the Board transmitting the resignation of W.E.Thompson as a member of the City Manning Cormisssion ; the communication also stated that the Commission had also decided to allow the pepper trees to remain on Oak Street. No action taken. Resolution No. 61-A, Establishing curb grade and elevation on Hutchins Street and on Walnut Street 'hest of Hutchins Street was (oi�, then introduced, passed and adopted by the following vote: - AYE'S: Trustees, :i -:1e, Mettler, Shattuck. B arzellotti Cavin; prepared »lana and sreci-ications for the improvement of Hutchins- and 'rTalnut Streets, he presented the sr --e for a^proval and the Board approved and adopted the plans and specifications by the passage of Resolution Vo. 61-3 by the following vote: Al'S: Trustees, Hale 1_ettler, Shattuck. Trustee I,Iettler then introduced Resolution of Intention % t No. 61 in the :tatter of the improvement of Hutchins and Walnut Streets and the same •aas passed and adopted by the following vote: - AYES: Trustees, ;.Iettler, Hale, S'rattuck. :1,033: Trustees, Ii0n0. ABS :ITT: Trustees, ±ickok, Spooner. On motion of Trustee Liettler, the Superintendent of public Utiliti3s was autorized to extend :'Tater and Sewer service to that part of the Lodi Barn::art Tract South of cline Street. On motion of Trustee H'ale, the Superintendent was also auth- orized to have a well drilled at the site of the sewage disposal plant. iio further business appeasing, the Board adjourned.
