In accordance with adjournment taken from the adjourned regular meeting of January 19th., the Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi met in adjourned regular session at 8 o'clock P.M. on the date above written; Trustees Hale, Mettler, Spooner and Shattuck present, Trustee Hickok absent. This being the date set in Resolution No. 368 passed January 2nd for the opening of bids for the bonds issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments on Eden Street, (R.I.52) ,and it appearing that notice thereof had been duly published, the Board proceeded to publicly open and declare the amounts of the bids received. No bids were received and the Board proceeded to award the bonds to the contractor in full payment of the balance due him by the passage of .7 i Resolution No. 377 as filed in -the office of the City Clerk by the following vote: - AYES: Trustees, HALE, SPOONBR, METTL ER, SHATTUCK. NOES: Trustees, NOTE. ASSENT: Trustees, HICKOK. This being also the date set in Resolution No. 369 passed January 2nd for the opening of bids for the bonds issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments on .'lora St.,(R.I.60), and it appearing that notice thereof had been duly published, the Board proceeded to publicly open and declare the amounts of the bids received. No bids were received and the Board proceeded to award the bonds to the contractor in full payment of the balance due him by the passage of Resolution No. 378 as filed in the office of the City Clerk by the 3-7i( following vote:- • AYES: Trustees, Spooner, Mettler, Hale. Shattuck. NOES: Trustees, None. ABSENT: Trustees, Hickok. The Foster & Kleiser Company applied by letter for permission to erect eight bill -boards in various locations throughout the City. This master was referred to the City Planning Commission at the order of the President. On motion of Trustee Hale, seconded by Trustee Spooner, claims of the following persons,approved by the finance committee in the amounts stated,were ordered paid, the Clerk to take a receipt in each case, waiving any future claims of the persons paid: - John G. The term of office of `lir. -'ax Follendorf as a member of the City planning Commission having expired January first, the President appointed Mrs. J. A. Henning to the vacancy and on motion of Trust- ee Spooner, the appointment was confirmed by unanimous vote of the Board. on motion of Trustee ;.settler, the Board adjourned to the day and hour for the next regular meeting.
