As per adjournment taken from the regular meeting of Nov- ember 20,1922, the Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi. met in adjourned regular session at 6 o'clock P.M., President Shattuck presiding. Trustees Hale, Hickok, Mettler and Shattuck present. Trustee Spooner absent. The Clerk being in doubt as to the propriety of =proving the minutes of a regular meeting at an adjourned meeting from the same, the reading of the minutes was passed. PUBLIC HEARINGS AND PROTESTS: Mr. F. J. Dolcater again appeared and protested against the state of the canal due to sewage. He was informed that everything possible was being done, but owing to the low stage of the river, but little water could be secured. C012IUNICATIONS : The Lodi Business Men's Association applied for and were granted. 1248.75 as advertising allowance for the year on motion of Trustee Mettler, UNPINIS= BUS IiESS: Ordinance No. 136, "AN ORDINANCE ORDERING, CALLIIt'G AND PRO:- "TIDING RO-VIDING FOR AID GIVING NOTICE Cr A SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE BELD ON TUESDAY, DECEMBER, 19th," ETC, having been regularly introduced on Monday, November 20,1922, and ordered laid over for not less than five days, was introduced for passage and publication on motion of Trustee Hickok, seconded by _rustee Yale. This ordinance was then regularly passed by the following vote: AYE'S: Hickok, ::ale, Mettler, Shattuck 'GES: None ABSENT: Trustee Spooner. Four (4) building permits aggregating $3100.00 vere granted. M&W BUSINMSS: -- The Clerk was authorized to obtain-specifica.tions for such parts of the proposed sewage disposal plant as could be advertised for at this time from 'Engineer C. F. Smith ani advertise for the same. The Clerk was authorized to advertise for bids for sewer pipe sufficient to lay in the open alleys and streets in the Barn- hart Tract south of the old city limits, and on Hutchins Street from Elm Street to Lockeford Street. No further business appearing, the Board adjourned to the date and hour of their next regular meeting on motion of Trustee 'ral e . At test CI e Y.
