Monday October 23, 1922.
Special meeting of the Board of Trustees was called for
8 o'clock P.M. in the manner stated in Ordinance No.1; Trustees
:tale, Hickok, Mettler, Spooner and Shattuck present.
The following resolutions were introduced and adopted by
the vote shown after each:
Resolution No. 335 approving the asseesment diagram for
Sacramento Street:
AYES: Hale, Hickok, Mettler, Spooner & Shattuck.
NOES: None ABSENT: None
Resolution No. 336, finding the amount of the unpaid assess-3-
ments on Hilborn Street:
AYES: Spooner, Mettler, Hale, Hickok, Shattuck.
NOES: None ABSENT: None
Resolution No. 337 Authorizing the issuance of Bonds to
represent the unpaid assessments on Hilborn Street:
AYES: Hickok, Spooner, Hale, Mettler, Shattuck.
NOBS: None ABSENT: None
Resolution No. 338, determining the amount of the unpaid
assessments on 'lokay.Street:
AYES: Mettler, Hickok,Hale, Spooner and Shattuck
NOES: None ABSENT: None
Resolution No. 339 Authorizing the issuance of bonds to
represent the unpaid assessments on Tokay Street:
AYES: rale, Hickok,Mettler, Spooner, Shattuck.
NOES: None ABSENT: None
Application accompanied by assent of bondsmen having been
filed by Clark & Henery Construction Company asking that they be
granted an extension of ninety days in which to complete their con-
tract on Cordier Street, the extension was granted for the time re-
quested on motion of Trustee Spooner seconded by Trustee Mettler.
Unanimously carried.
The Clerk read a communication from Clark & Henery Con-
struction Lo, guaranteeing to remedy any defects in the pavement
of Sacramento Street in consideration of the acceptance of the
job. It being the general opinion that there is no serious de-
fects in any of the construction and the Board holding that the
guarantee was sufficient, the letter was ordered filed and the
restrictions as to acceptance placed upon the Superintendent of
Streets October 16th were ordered removed.
Four building permits totaling .12,450.00 were allowed,
:he application of the J. M. Posey Land Company for -rer-
mission to rent their temporary building on the South 25 feet of
the North 30 feet of Lot 4 in Block 10 to G. 0. Yarling until he
could secure permanent quarters was allowed for 90 days from the
first day of November on motion of Trustee Spooner, seconded by
Trustee _iickok.
Phe Cleric was authorized and directed to prepare a resolu-
tion to be adopted at the next rmeting, ezcploying the "Wisler
Audit Bureau" to make a complete audit of the City's accounts in
accordance with their letter of October 9th and at the rate set
forth therein, viz: $960.00 for a complete audit and recommendations
for changes.
The Board adjourned sine -die at 10:00 o'clock P.M.
