Pursuant to adjournment of August 7th,1922 the Board of Trus- tees of the City of Lodi convened at 8:00 P.M. and on call of the roll, Trustees Hale,Mettler and Shattuck were present: Trustees, Hickok and Spooner absent. The minutes of the regular meeting of August ?!th were read and approved. Upon motion of Trustee Hale seconded by Trustee Mettler, Dr. C.V. Thompson was appointed Deputy Health Officer. The Report of the City Plumbing Inspector was read end ordered filed. Trustee Hale moved, seconded by Trustee Mettler that a Duplicate :Tarrant be issued in lieu of lost Warrant a 13369 drawn Jan.3,1922 in favor of V.R.Larson. The claims of 3.G.Polson for building hose raek,in th amount of249.90,and City Clerk for cash payments from Revolving Fund in the amount of $618.15 were allowed and ordered paid,on motion of Trustee Hale. P.O.Hale moved,seconded by Trustee Melt?gr that the President of the Board of Trustees be authorized to sign the Meter and Transformer Contracts with the General Electric Company. In the matter of the annexation of the Northern Addition to the City, the Clerk certified to the sufficiency of the Petition. Trustee Mettler moved,seconded by Trustee Hale that Resolution No. 307,a Resolution Ordering a Special Hlection,be adopted, which motion was carried by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees Mettler, Hale and Shattuck. Noes: None. Absent: Trustees Spooner sad Hickok. The Board decided not to install a sprinkling system in the parked spaces on Central Avenue,as it would establish a costly precedent. The City Engineer was instructed to install City Limit Markers on the South City Boundary at Cherokee Lane, Central Avenue, Stockton Street,on each side of the S.P.R.R.and School Street. The Board directed the City Engineer to prepare Plans, specifications and Estimates for s Drainage Sewer on Stockton Avenue and Iettleman Lane. There being no further business, the Board adjourned.
