The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi was called to order at 8 o'clock P.N. on the date above ::rit- ten; Trustees Hickok, Mettler, Spooner and Shattuck present; Trust- ee Hale. absent. The minutes of the adjourned regular rneetin of July 10th were read and approved. cryc ' H. After discussion, the Board reused to reconsider, but inform- ed odale that the matter of bill -boards and their regulation .would be taken up at the neat Leetin?. 3'red Lind asked that he be rllowed Water for his house on Daisy Avenue, but the Board, not caring to establish a precedent in supplying water to persons itside the City, refused the permission sought. This being the date set for the reception of sealed proposals for improving Eden Street and Stockton Average, the Board proceeded to publi clv open and declare the bids received., Clark Henery Con- struction Company beine the only bidders. ?or the improvement 'of -Eden -Street, the above Company bid as follows: - Grading :;0.02 per sq. ft. Paul": 0.185 " " " Concrete Curbs . 0.50 per lin.ft. Concrete Gutters 0.28 per so. ft. The bid on tie improvement of Stockton Avenue was identical in terms with the above.
