Thursday Pebruary 23-1922.
As oar adjournment taken by the Clerk as stated above under
the date of 'ebruary 20,1922, the 3oard of Trustees of the City of
Lodi Wet in adjourned regular session at 8 o'clock P.M. and on call
of the roll, Trustees,Mentgomery,Crose,Hale and Hickok were pres-
ent, Trustee Rich absent.
The minutes of the regular _seting of Yebruray 6t. 1 922 and
the certificate of the clerk as to the adjournment from the muting
scheduled for February 20th were approved as read.
Diaz'-•ame delineating_ the districts to be assessed for the
improvement of To.:ay Streit and Sacramento Street having been pre-
pared by the City T.n_gineer, the save were adopted by the following
votes: -
Resolution 1 o.223, approving the diagram for ;okay Street:
A"r'S: Trustees, Crose,Ric ok, Hale, Montgomery.
NOES: Trustees, None. ABSENT: Trust.ea, Rich.
Resolution No. approving diagram for Sacramento St.:
AYES: Trustees, Hickok, Crose, hale, 1:iontgomery.
.NOES: Trustees, lone. ABSENT: Trustee, Rich.
Plans and specifications as prepared under order of the
Board for the above 4emed streets were approved and adopted by the
passage of: -
Resolution No.225 arpreving P. & S. 'okay Street;
AYES: Trustees, Hale, Hickok, Crose,i!ontgomery.
NOES: Trustees, Bone. ASSENT: Trustee Ric:.
Resolution iio. 226, approving 3 & S. Sacramento Street;
AYES: Trustees, Crose, Hickok, Hale, Montgomery
NOES: Trustees, Bone. ASSENT: Trustee, Rich.
3etitions asking the improvement of Rose and 'Locust Streets
having been previously filed with the clerk and having his cert-
ificate attached stating that the signed frontage exceeded 500 of
the total frontage, were referred to the Engineer for plans and
specifications on motion of Trustee Hickok.V
P.C.Ross applied for a license to conduct a card room at
;,-15 :;:st Pine Street under the provisions of subdivision 19 of
Ordinance 82; Trustee Late moved that the license be granted but
receiving no second the :.lotion was declared lost. Trustee Hickok,
seconded by 'Trustee Crose moved that no more card room licenses be
;ranted after expiration Of present -licenses and that the City
Attorney be instructed to prepare an ordinance rescinding that
portion of Ordinance 1o.82 granting such -licenses. The motion
carried, Trustee Hale voting no.
Eight building pernito were granted amounting to $9,400.00
