ees of the City of Lodi met in adjourned regular session at 8 O'clock
and on call of the roll there were present Trustees Montgomery,
Crose, ._:le, Hickok and Rich.
The _clerk being out of the City, Trustee Rich. :;as chosen clerk
pro tem and the board proceeded to farther consideration of the
Natter of the purchase of fire ao a_ratus. The board 'raving viewed
apparatus of diverse makes on the •preceeding day in Oakland and
3erkeley and having had- demonstration of one make within the city,
due consideration having been given to all the types on which bids
::'e_e submitted, the award for furnishing a completely equipped
triple combination truck was awarded to the Seagrave Company by the ) t
introduction and passage of Resolution of :ward No. 180 by the

The Superintendent of Public Ltilitiesr:as authorized to purch-
ase 1760 feet of 8 inch oast iron'pipe to be laid on the East line
L_ of Sacramento Street.
- The bill of the City Transfer Company in the amount of $264.91
and the bill of J.A.He _ping for ;}14.75 were alloyed on motion
properly made and seconded.
No other business a•pearing, the board adjourned to the date
of the next regular meeting.
