Trustee Hale absent. In the matter of Ordinance 3,o 126: no protists having been filed and no motestants appearing at this time, this being the day and hour set by resolution and named by publication for the hearing of the same, the board adopted Resolution 11o. 166 A, finding due publication of the notice that said ordinance had been applied for and would be granted by the fol- lowing vote: - Ayes, Trustees, Hickok, Crose Rich and Montgomery. :;oes, Trustees, None. Absent, Trustees, Hale. _hereupon, and subsequent to the paasage of the above.,Resol- ution No. 166 3, passing and ordering the publication of Ordinance No. 126 :ras adopted by the following vote: - ayes, Trustees, Rich, Hickok, Crose and :'.:ontgomery. hoes, Tr•.1.stees, hone. absent, Trustee, Hale. Mrs Thirza ,.i. Cole , proprietor of the "Llason Hospital" through. a letter addressed to the board, desired that a "quiet zone" be estab- lished on School Street from Locust to Lockeford Street, that the street sweepers be instructed to sweep that street at an earlier hour and that she be allowed a space sufficient for two cars restricted from parking before the main entrance to the hospital. This matter was taken under advisement in order to secur: the advice of the City Attorney. The application of Tony Terbol for a card room license at 7-7;216 N. Sacramento Street ::as granted on motion of Trustee Crose, seconded by Trustee Rich. J.C.Bewley on behalf of the 3oard of Health, desired that the city set apart the sum of ;4400.00 for transportation expenses of a pub- lic health nurse for the public schools. No action to en. The report of J..=..Herning, City Plumbing Inspector, was read and ordered filed. .n easement for storm water sewer having been prepared and ex- ecuted by the California ,Tine Association, the President was authorized to execute the same by the passage of Resolution No. 174 by the follow- ing vote: Ayes, Trustees, Crose, Hickok, Rich and Montgomery. i:oes, Trustees, hone. Absent Trustees, Hale. On motion of Trustee Rich, bids to the amount of 3,b42.O4 were ordered paid. The consideration of the appointment of an additional deputy + marshall was taken under advisement.
