The re-ul x meeting of the Board of 'Trustees of the City of
Lodi was called to order at 8.00 P.a. on the date above written
and on call of the roll, there were present Trustees i.:ontgomary,
Crose and Rich; Trustees Hale and Hickok absent.
The minutes of the re-ulax meeting of July 5th and the adj-
ourned regular meetings of July 6th and 11th were approved. without
correction.
Communications from the following persons and firms were read
and disposed of as noted: Central Foundry Company, regarding the
falling market on universal Cast Iron Pipe, ordered filed; National
Board of Tire Underwriters, stating that their ::r Stange would make
a survey of the city on July 19th, directed to the attention of the
board; Harry T. Roche, applying for appointment as a deputy marshal,
ordered filed.; American Lachine Works, requesting statement as to
amount of second-hand pipe the city would purchase and giving stock
list; referred to Superintendent Public utilities.
The application of A. Stathatos for permission to erect a
combination crane dwelling and store room on the South 85' of lots
13-14-15 in block 26 was denied, the same being in the established
fire limits.
The applcation of E. Deiiartini to erect a temporary frame
building on lot 1 and the I: of lot 2 in block 26 at or near f100
S. Main Street was allowed with the restriction that the same be
removed within four months from date of permit.
The application of W. Taioli for a temporary dwelling at or
near 14 S. :rain Street on_lot 7 of block 27 was allowed with the
same restriction as to four months toleration.
Seven building permits for structures valued at .11,650 were
=anted.
i::essrs Cruz & Meisanerrenewed application of the playground
committee for use of the baths and on motion of Trustees Crose and
Rich, the play -ground committee was allowed the use of the baths on
two mornings in each week for two hours, bathers to furnish suits
if used and towels, the arrangement to be in force for one month
only and the committee to defray expense of attendents if any such
expense was entailed.

was regularly introduced and ordered to take its proper course.
Bills to the amount of 42908.05 having been approved by the
finance committee, were ordered paid,(motion of Trustee Rich).
On notion of Trustee Rich, the board adjourned until Lionday
July 25-1921.
