the C_t;' of Lodi ,convened at 1.30 P.yi. on the -above date and on
call of the roll, there were _,resent Trustees, Crose, .n 1e, Hickok,

It was moved by Trustee 'rale, seconded by Trustee Hickok, that
minutes of meeting of the 21st. inst. be not read and so ordered.

add after 11dCuddi011 of the bids submitted it was moved by Trustee
:kale, and seconded by Trustee Hickok that the bid oi' the Byron Jack—
son Lachine Works covered by their proposition "D" be accepted and
all other bids be rejected. notion unanimously carried. Tnis.prop—
ositlon ,was accepted its Che modification, acceeded to by the bid—
ding company's representative, that the motor furnished should
cost not more than the city couldobtain the same, namely at the
price or 41113.00 making tale total cost of this proposition to be
429455.00 on a 17i" 0.D.,"Byron Ja,Ciison",4--stage,1eDwell -turbine
complete with 710' of 9" 0.D. suction pipe and strainer; 42' of
10"' O.D. ilisch.coluTn,3" shaft tube and 1-15/16" diameter shafting,
flanged discharge head, flexible couyling and motor base for dir—
ect co.:rection to motor specified. To be.furnished in "low capacity"
