He asked the Board to increase his pay 450 per month. RESOLUTIO`T NO. 119. WHEREAS, MABEL W. BEATY and F .AVX J. BEATY, her husband, have Offered in writing to convey to the City of Lodi, for the con— sideration of 4175.00, that certain lot of land situated in the said City of Lodi, County of San Joaquin, State of California, par— ticularly described as follows: Beginning at the Southeast (S.y.) corner Lu of lot Nbored Nine (9) , in Block Numbered One (1) , oft ^e Lodi Barnhart Tract, according to the official iap of said tract filed for record Nov— ember 5th, 1906, at 3:05 P.M. at the office of the County Recorder of said County of San Joaquin, and running thence north aloee the East line of said l01 Twenty (20) feet, thence West andparallel ' to sail lot Twenty (20) feet; thence South and parallel to the East line of said land Twenty (20) feet to the South line of swik lot; thence East Twe n ty (20) feet along the South line of said lot, to the point of beginning. And, WHEREAS, it is for the public bebefit and interest for said City of Lodi, to acquire said lot of land for the site of a puemi _> plant. NOW, THEREFOR„ be it resolved that said offer be ac— cented, ana upon receiving a good and sufficient deed to said de— scribed lot of land, conveying the same to the City of Lodi, with good Merchantable title, that a warrant be drawn in favor of Said MABEL W.
