Pursuant to adjournment cf January 3rd, the Board of Trustees
of the City of Lodi convened at 7:30 p.m. , there being present at
roll call President of the Board Montgomery, Trustees Hale and Hickok.
Trustee Rich arrived at 8:00 o'clock and was excused at 8:10. Trustee
Crose waS absent, being out of the City.
Yinutes of the meeting of January 3rd were read and approved.
Plumbing Inspector Henning's report for the month of December
was read and crderea filed.
A communication and statement from State Compensation Insur—
ance Fund enclosing check for k9.50.3a in final aettlerent of 1917
compensation policy was received, accepted and ordered filed.
City Clerk H.S.Clark presented his written resignation to
take effect February ist, 1921.
Trustee Hale moved, seconled by Trustee Hickok, that the res—
ignation of City Clerk Clark be accepted to be effective February 1st.
The motion was adopted by 1;:ae following vote:
Ayes: Trustees Hale, Hickok and Montgomery.
Noes: None.
Absent::Trustees Rich and Crose.
The aeoplication of John F. Blakely for the pOsition of City
Clerk to fill the vacancy caused Oy the reeignation of H:S.Clark,
was read and ordered filed.
Trustee Kale moved, seconded by Trustee Hickok, that John F.
Blakely be appointed to fill the vacancy in the City Clerk's office
caused by the reeignation of H. S. Clark, el= appointment to be
effective February let, 1921, and to continue in effect until the
next regular election. Tne mo -tion was aaopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Trustees Hale, Hickok and Kontgomery.
Noes: None.
Absent: Trustees Rich and Crose.
RESOLUTION NO. 117.
RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 115.
RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi that
Resolution No. 115, passed and adopted on the 13th day of December,
1920, relative to proposed bond proceedings be, and the same is hereby
rescinded.
, The foregoing Resolution No. 117 was passed and adopted by
tne following vote:
Ayes: Trustees Hale, Hickok, Rich and. Montgomery.
Noes; None.
Abeent: Trustee Crose.
