CITY HALL - CITY OF LODI
Uonday. August 2, 1937
The City Council of the City of Lodi met in regular session at
8:00 o'clock P.M. of Monday, August 2, 1937. Councilmen, Clark, Graffigna,
Spooner, 7leihe and Steele present, none absent.
The minutes of the last regular meeting held July 6, 1937 and
the t of the adjourned regular meeting held Tuly 26, 1937 were read, approved
as read and so indorsed by the Mayor.
No persons appearing at this time the order of public tcearings was
passed and the Council proceeded to hear communications and reports.
The report of the Chief of Police for the month of Tuly and that
of the poundmaster for the same period were read and ordered filed.
Three applications for business licenses Nos. 8497 to and including
8499 were ordered granted on motion of Councilman iYeihe, seconded by
Councilman Graffigna.
Five building permits 41744 to and including 41748 for structures
to cost 51,475. were granted.
Claims #29600 to end including #29759 in the amount of $21,740.81
were allowed and ordered granted. On the recommendation of the Finance
Committee claim #29711 was ordered rejected.
The City Engineer, Clinton Henning. reported orally on the
festival project at Lake Park.
The Council then adjourned at the order of the Mayor, none
dissenting.
The foregoing minutes of a
regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Lodi
were read at a subsequent
meeting of said Council held
August 16, 1937 and approved
without correction.
