Monday Tuly 19 ,1937
The City Council of the City of Lodi met in regular
session at 8: o'clock F. M. of Monday, Tuly 19, 1937.
Ir. the absence of the City Clerk, Deputy City Clerk Griffin
called the roll: Councilmen Clark, Graffigna, ?reihe and
Steele present; absent, Councilman Spooner.
The minutes of the last regular sleeting of Tu1y o,
1937 were read, approved as read and so endorsed by the Mayor.
There being no persons present who wished .o address
the Council, the order of Public Hearings was passed, and the
Council proceeded to Communications and Reports.
A letter was received from the Southerr. Pacific Co.
_skin; permission to change the location of one of their
existing tracks in Walnut Street, and also one in Cak Street.
Cn motion of Mayor Steele, seconded by Councilr'pn Graffigna, the
unofficial permission previously given to the Southern Pacific
Co. to re -arrange this trackage was ratified and confirmed by
all members present voting Aye.
The Scut:err. Pacific Co. also asked Pe mission to re -
rove a part of existing Curb and Gutter and replace with Talley
Cutters to provide driveways to their sheds on their reservations
between Cak and "ralr_ut Sts. .i motion was made by Councilman
graffigra, seconded by Councilman Creihe, that permission be
granted, said work to be under the supervision and to the satis-
faction of the City Engineer. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
