- Spooner and+eihe present, ; ayor Steele absent. In the absence of the :. •!or
and on motion of Councilman Spooner, seconded by councilman '.:eihe, Council -an
Clark was unanimously chosen i:ayor protein and opened the meeting.
:ne minutes of the last regular meeting held June 7th, 1937 were
read, approved as read and so indorsed by the tayor.
ITo persons appearing at this time the order of Public Hearings
was passed. On motion of Councilman Spooner, seconded by �otnci.:an sra:'figaa
the eats of hearing on the proposed zoning ordinance was set at 8:00 o'clock
P. LT. of Tuesday, July S, 1937, and the clerk was directed by the sane motion
to publish the notice required by law.
Ca :notion of Councilman areffi.'rza, seconded b -r Councilman 47eihe,
the City Clerk was directed to advertise for sealed bids for legal
publications to be had during the fiscal year ending June 30, 1938.
Resolution No. 919 was introduced by motion of Council=man Spooner,
secondee by Oouncilman ireffigna.

Public ,orks, Division of 1igh.:ays, has presented a nemoranduri of agreement
in accordance with a project statement su',.mitted by the City for exzenditure
of the 1/4 cent las tax for the 1937-1939 biennium,- allocated for State high-
ways in the ,ity of Logi, and
"ri??^.r".S, the City Council has heard read said agrserent in full and
is familiar with the contents thereof;

that said aF.reenent for expenditure of the 1/4 cent :-as tax allocated for
State highways be and the same is hereby approved and the Layor and City
Clerk are directed to sign the same on behalf of said City.
