L. of Monday, November 2, 1936, Councilmen, Clark, Graffigna, Spooner, Weihe and Steele present; none absent. i The minutes of the last regular =eetiag held October 19, 1936 were read, approved as read and so indorsed by the Mayor. There being no persons present who desired to address the Council the order of public Hearings was passed and the City Council proceeded to hear co=iunizations and reports. Two letters were receiTed from the League of California Municipalities one informing the City Council that the League had withdrawn its indorserent of Proposition No. 10 at the November 3rd election and the other asking for information as to the City's disposal of gasoline tax funds. The Clerk stated that he had all ready addressed a letter informing the Secretary of the League as to the objects and purposes to which the City was reserving its allocations of gasoline taxes. The report of the City Poundnaster for the month of October was received, read and ordered filed. The Shell Oil Company applied by letter for permission to install a 6,000 gallon gasoline tank at their premises on Railroad Avenue, and on motion of Councilman Greffigna, seconded by Councilman Weihe, the application was ordered granted. Eight building permits, applications No. 1559 to and including 1566 for structures to cost $10,910. were allowed and ordered granted. Lir. J. E. Fitzsimmons was granted permission to move a frame i dwelling from 116 Pest Nine Street to a location outside the City. All applications for business licenses under Ordinance No. 221 filed with the City Council were allowed and ordered granted. A final nap of Lachenmaier Subdivision of Lot 40 Lodi Barnhart Tract as pre?ared by the Acting City Engineer was presented to the Council and on motion of Councilmen Weihe, seconded by Councilman Clark the same was approved by the adoption of Resolution No. 863. RESOLUTION NO. 863 XREREAS on the 30th day of July, 1936, the City Planning Co=ission of the City of Lodi did approve a "Tentative Lap of Lachenmaier Subdivison of Lot 40, Lodi Barnhart Tract" and; WHEIMAS in a,cordance with statutes therein made and provided, the final map of said subdivision has been this day presented to the City Council for its approval; BE IT ?RSCLTD, that this City Council of the City of Lodi does hereby approve the final "Mnp of the Lachenmaier Subdivision being a sub— division of Lot 40 of the Lodi Barnhart Tract, City of Lodi, California", and the Mayor and other officers of the City of Lodi as required by law are hereby authorized and directed to certify to this approval and adoption of said map. The foregoing Resolution No. 963 was then passed and adopted by the following vote: AY ---S: Councilmen Weihe, Clark, Graf£igaa, Spooner and Steele NOES: Councilnen None ABSENT- Councilmen None 368 COUNCIL CHAMBERS --CITY COUNCIL CITY HALL - - CITY Of LODI Claims Nos. 27593 to and including No. 27713 in the total amount of $16,264.05 as approved b -T the Finance Committee were allowed and ordered paid on motion of Councilmen Clark, seconded by Councilman Weire. On motion of Councilman Spooner, seconded by Councilman Clark the City Council then adjourned to and until 8:00 o'clock F..'. of November 9, 1936.
