On roll call, Councilmen Clark', :rraffi_na, Spooner, .imine and
Steele zere none absent.
Applications for the position of City Jude made vacant by the
death of J. H. Hopkins were received from Messrs. H. I. Diehl and n. L.
;leaver, and at to order of the wayor the same were taken under
consideration to be _cted upon at the next oeetin- of the City Council
to be held on the Second day of '..`arch.
Mr. E. H. Jacoueth, co.:suitln plannin en;ineer, was present
and the Council entered into a discussion of methods of procedure necessary
to establish a Plarnin; Commission and to provide for the zonins of the
City Into residential and commercial districts. Action in this .atter
was postponed until the Second day of March in order to allow the City
Attorney sufficient time to prepare preliminary ordinances or ordinance.
The City Attorney was also instructed to prepare en amendment to existing
ordinances gelatin; to the salaries of the City Treasurer and City Clerk.
No further business appearins at this time the Board adjourned
