Purs;iant to the adJournment taken from the re`ular meet-
ing of October 1, 1934, the City Council met at 6:10 o'clock
7.. , Councilmen Clark, ieagle , Spooner',tileihe and Steele
present, none absent. On account of Councilman Keagle being
but lately recovered from illness, this meeting Ras held in
the office of the City Clerk, on the first floor of the City
Eall.
Superintendent of Public Utilities John A. Henning address-
ed the Council in regard to the necessity of certain changes
in the rates charged for supplying water through meters and
suggested three tentative revisions of the rates. On motion
of Councilman Spooner, 3:eihe second, the City Attorney wvis
directed to draw up an ordinance embodying the provisions
of the third rate suggested by L1r Henning and'submit the same
for introduction at the neat meeting of the Council.
The Mayor then called the Council into executive session
as Committee of the Whole to consider certain matters in
the Police Department.
Ur B. C. Dougherty, Superintendent of Streets, Tlir F.
Christesen, Chief of 'Police and Police Officers Jackson,
Shealor, White and Acker were each summoned before the
Council and interrogated.
't the order of the L:syor, none dissenting, the Council
then adjourned to meet at 8:00 o'clock P.Lu. of Monday,
October S. 1934.
