Monday, October 3, 1932
;^a City Council of the City of Lodi met in regular
_ session at 8 o'clock P.i.I. on the date first above written,
Councilmen 'Clark, Keagle, Spooner, i,aihe and Steele present,

none absent.
The minutes of the regular meeting of September 19
and the meeting adjourned therefrom to September 26, 1932
r:ere read, a -)proved as read and so endorsed by the n:Iayor.
Sao persons appearing, the order of Public Hearings
c;as passed and the Council proceaded to hear reu_orts and
cOm:nurications
The report of the Chief of Police for the month of
September and that of the PounImaster for the same month inhere
received, read and ordered filed.
George D. Polenske, Sire Chief and acting Secretary
of Lodi Volunteer ?ire Department submitted a report covering
the activities of that Department for the quarter ended
Sentember 30th and the same was accepted and ordered filed.
John A. Hanning as Plumbing Inspector filed his
report for September and the same was ordered filed.
Councilman Waihe of the Coamittee on Streets and
Hiai.ways reported that his Committee had investigated the
eoniition of the alley north of Daisy Avenue and crest of
Sacramento Street and the unpaved block of Daisy Avenue
between Sacramento and School Streets and that the Super-
intendent of Streets had been instructed to put both in
rerair as soon as possible.
Councilman Keagle of the Committee on Public Eea.lth
and Safety filed a report on the operation of Ordinance No.
188 as affecting one family cow dairys, recommending that
this class of dairy be exempted by amendment to the ordinance
from the restrictions imposed upon commercial dairys.
On motion of Councilman Spooner, Keagle second,

same motion, laid over for the statutory period of not less
than five days. 2votion carried unanimously.
Bills in the amount of $19,889.12 as approved by
the finance committee were ordered paid on motion of Council-
man Spooner, .Jeihe second, the claim of H.V.Carter Company
for re^airs to a mower lawnmower in the amount of $46.22 not
bein? annroved nor included in the above motion.
On motion of Councilman Wei're, the City Council
adjourned to and until 8 o'clock of Konday, October 10,
1932.
