Monday, January 18th., 1932
This re;ular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Lodi was called to order by the Mayor at 8.05 o'clock P.11. on
the date first above written, Councilmen Kea<gle, Roach, Steele,
:reihe and Spooner present, none absent.
The minutes of the regular meeting of January 4, 1932 were
read, aTproved as read and so endorsed by the Mayor.
?he order of public hearings was pa=:sed for the moment a:_d
the City Council received, heard and disposed of the following.
reports:
wuarterly Report of City Treasurer for the quarter ender
December 31, 1331 and the Quarterly Report of the City Clerk
for the same period; both ordered filed.

ed on January 4th.,1932 ryas discussed at length by interested
citizens and the City Council decided to postpone the adoption
of the same until the date of its nest regular meeting.
Mr Howard Locke, on behalf of the Farn Bureau, presented
a rough draft of an ordinance whose adoption would place a lic.:nse
tax on the vendors of butter substitutes; this was referred tc
City Attorney, Glenn .Test, for consideration and consultation
with attorneys from other municipalities in the County.
Five building permits for structures to cost $3,325.00 wre
ordered granted.
' Bills in the total amount of >3,479.58 as a_;proved by tY
?iaance Committee were allowed and ordered paid.
No further business appearing, the City Council adjcurne-1.
