MONDAY, DECEMBER 7th, 1931
This meeting was regularly adjourned by me at the direction of the
City Council of the City of Lodi to and until 8 o'clock P.M. of Tuesday,
December 8th.,1931, I personally appearing at the said Council Chambers
at 8 o'clock P.M. on the date first above written and orally giving
notice thereof.

TUESDAY, DECEMBER Bth.,1931
The City Council of the City of Lodi met in adjourned regular
session at 8.10 o'clock P.M. on the date above written, Councilmen
Keagle, Roach, Steele, Weihe and Spooner (Mayor) present, none absent.
The minutes of the last regular meeting held November 16th, the
adjourned meeting of November 23rd, the adjourned meeting of November
25th and the adjourned meeting of November 50th.,1931 were read,
approved as read and so endorsed by the Mayor.
Mr H. H. Woodside, representing Central California Traction Company,
applied for permission to plank that Company's crossing on Tokay Street
rather than repave the same. The permission was tentavi y granted and
the Clerk instructed to prepare a suitable resolution setting forth the
location of the track in question.
George D. Polenske, City Fire Chief, addressed the Council regard-
ing the heating of the two fire houses. This matter was referred to the;
Committee on Public Health and Safety for investigation and report.
Mr Thomas Little asked that he be given police protection from
annoying children on Spruce Street, referred to Chief of Police.
The report of the Chief of Police for November and of the City
Poundmaster for the same period were received, read and ordered filed.
The matter of allowing the County of San Joaquin a right-of-way over
the City's road to the dumping grounds in consideration for its up -keep
was referred to the City Attorney for consultation with Mr Stuckenbruck.
A method of disbuasing funds to the several claimants on the Cher-
okee Lane contract was set up by the adoption of Resolution No. 653 by
the following vote :-
AYES: Councilmen, Steele, Weihe, Keagle, Roach & Spooner (Mayor).
NOES: Councilmen, None. ,ABSENT: Councilmen, None.
Bills in the total amount of $13,071.36 as approved by the Finance
Committee were allowed and ordered paid on motion of Councilman Weihe,
Beagle, second.
On motion of Councilman Keagle, the City Council adjourned to the
day and hour of its next regular meeting.
