The minutes of the regular meeting held ::arch 2nd and the adjourned meeting of 'March 9th.,1931 were read, approved as read and so endorsed by the ".iayor. Seven building permits aggregating $9,415.00 were ordered granted; Permit No. 934 tor a frame garage building at 123 N. Sacramento S' was denied a.rs beim witnin the fire limits. It was regularly moved and seconded that the existing contract for a+oage collection with Sanitary City Scavenger Company be cancelled as of dune'3Oth,1931 and a new contract be entered into for a period of five years from and after that date. Cn motion of Councilman Steele, Keagle second the act- ion of the CityCouncil on Larch 2nd was modified and amended so that the Caifornia State Base -ball League should pay to the City 10% of the fnd oroposed to be divided between the `olayers at the end of the seasons games.
