This regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Lodi was called to order at 8.00 o'clock P 3' . on the date
first above written, Councilmen Keagle, Roach, Steele, .ieihe
and Spooner present, none absent.

chosen Clerk Aro men and proceeded to read'the minutes of the
previous meeting held September 22nd. ,1930. The same were
a_�proved.;�s•read and so enaorsed.by the _'ayor.
No persons appearing, the order of Public Hearings was
passed and the Council proceeded to hear can:::unications and
reports, as follows: .
Letter from C.L.Straub District Engineer of Tulare
UtilityDistrict Tulare; California addressed to Superinten-
dent of Eunicipai Electric System in regard to activities of
the -privately otned power interests in this state and advising
this'City that a conierance of interested parties had been
called to meet in the offices of Modesto Irrigation District
at 10.00. A.k. of October 16th.

applied for and was granted permission to install two under-
ground -storage tanks for gasoline at Elm Cherokee lane, tanks
to loft of standard specifi.cation and of one thousand gallons
capacity each.

the City Hall -and library. Application :ordered filed.
No action.on.the oicposition to the day-lieht savings
aeendment to.the State Constitution as requested by the City
Council of the City of .Fresno.

icipal Baths for the preceeding,. season. e
Thre?building permits grraanted aggregating $2,650 in'
cost; permit 4900 for an addition to tenement at 322 N.Sac-
ramento Street not granted as being incomplete in its state-
ments andt.aaot.- sipped. ;
Bills in the sign of $14 084.35 as aeproved by the
Finance Coreittee were allowed and ordered paid comprising
claims #14727 to #14875 inclusive.
