Spooner the absence of the City Clerk, Councilman ieihe-.as chosen Clerk Aro men and proceeded to read'the minutes of the previous meeting held September 22nd. ,1930. No persons appearing, the order of Public Hearings was passed and the Council proceeded to hear can:::unications and reports, as follows: . Letter from C.L.Straub District Engineer of Tulare UtilityDistrict Tulare; California addressed to Superinten- dent of Eunicipai Electric System in regard to activities of the -privately otned power interests in this state and advising this'City that a conierance of interested parties had been called to meet in the offices of Modesto Irrigation District at 10.00.
