The minutes of the last regular meeting held February 3rd.
1930 were read, acproved as read and so endorsed by the 1ayor.
'.s -3.K.NeYrfield addressed the Council asking that the
lights installed by Lodi Tennis Club at E]n & Church Streets
be moved to the Lawrence _ark tennis courts, a motion to this
effect was made by Councilman 7ieihe but the same failing to
obtain a second, the :.savor called Councilman Shattuck to the
chair, seconded the motion and on the motion being duly put,
the same was carried and it was so ordered.
-.r H.C.Snyder aoolied for permission to move his gasoline
101,71n) fromNo.22 . est--alnut Street to No. 18 on the same street,
statin- that permission .Cas sought for a two year period expiring
April Ist.,1932 when the pump would be removed. Ferrission granted.
A con:minication ;;as read from Hartford Corps :...C. thank-
ing the City Council for a proposed allotment of 8100.00 toward
the erection of a monument to the soldiers of the Civil .Tar.
Anomer letter from the Business omens Club thanking the
City Council for use of the City Ball during their last convent-
ion ::as read.
The Clerk ,ias authorized to remit light bills of the Tokay
Bank at 44 3.School Street.
Purchase of an oil sprayer for use in mosquito control
work to cost 841.50 was authorized.
Six building permits aagregatirg 81,550 were granted.

Councilman Shattuck and passed and adopted by the following vote:

RESOLUTION I10. 611;
JFt REAS, by Resolution iio.563 duly and regularly passed
and adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi on the 21st
day of '_`over^_ber ,1928, it .;as provided that the bay of the City
A• t�,orney for said City should be increased to the sum of Tao
Hundred Fifty Dollars Ter month for a period of three montns
from the date of said resolution, and
.' SH }AS, the secial work referred to in said resolution
has continued up to the present time and has not been completed,
and,
::=:1S, since the date of said Resolution and up to the

present time the City has been paying its City Attorney at the
rate of Two Hundred , ifty Dollars per month for his services;
:'O:v TH7REFORE, 3E Ii RESOLVED':
First, that the paymrnt of said salary to said City Attor-
ney at the rate of Tao Hundred Fifty Dollars per month 'ram
November lst.,1928 to the date of the passage of this resolut-
ion be and the serve is hereby ratified and a.;proved;
Second, that the pay of said City Attorney for all services
-to be performed for said City, including his services in all
litigation now oendi.g and in :which said. City is a party, shall
be Two Hundred r ifty Dollars ver month from the first day of
November, 1928 to the date hereof_and hereafter until changed
by the resolution of the City Council of said City.
Thirs. That in addition to said salary said t,ity Attorney
shall be paid his actual traveling expenses and other expenses
necessarily incurred, or hereafter to be incurred in perform-
ing any services in connection with any litigation in which
said City is interested.
