Pursuant to adjournment taken frau the. regular meeting of
November 18th.,1929, the City Council of the City of Lodi met
in adjourned regular session at 8.15 o'clock P.M. on the date
first above written; it appearing that no persons other than
members of the Council area representatives of oicc1ers on street
sweeping equipment were present; the meeting was held in the
office of the City Clerk.
Mr J. A. Henning filed a written report on the proposals
for furnishing street lighting equipment -for the tennis courts.
Owing to the cost of this equipment, it was decided to obtain
a statement of those who would use the courts at night and the
Clerk was directed to open a roster in his office for the use
of those players who might register.
Cr motion of Councilmen Shattuck Roach second, Mr Clinton
Henning was employed to assist the City Engineer in taking
measurements on local wells..
There being 10,100 pounds of copper were belonging to the
City held in storage in San Francisco bt Listenwalter and Gough;
the same having been purchased from Baker -Joslyn Company for
building a line to the sewage disposal plant and it appearing
that the City would have no immediate use for the same; the
Superintendent of public Utilities was directed to sell the
same to Federated t'etals Corporation at 14-i¢ per pound F.O.B.
warehouse at San Francisco.
• Cn motion of Councilman Shattuck, Jeihe second, the City
Clerk was authorized to arrange with the "Addressograph" company
for purchase of the machinry on which bids were received on
the 18th.
No further business appearing, the City Council adjourned
to the day and hour of their next regular meeting.
