Pursuant to adjournment tan from the regular meeting of April 15th.,1929, the City Council of the City of Lodi met in adjourned regular sessionat8.10 r.:., Councilmen Hale, Roach, Shattuck, :7elhe and Spooner present, none absent. The minutes of the resular meeting of April 15th.,1929 were read, approved as read and so endorsed by the Mayor. The bond of B.C.Dougherty as Superintendent of Streets in the penal sum of $1,000.00, Royal indemnity Company as surety, was accepted and the sufficiency thereof approved on motion of Councilman Teihe, Roach second. Cn motion of -Councilman Shattuck, 7eihe second, the offer of Michel a Pffefer Company to erect fencing around the tennis courts in Lawrence Par'_ was accepted. To accomodate new service, the Superintendent of Public Utilities was. instructed to lay a 6" -surer pipe in the alley forth of Lodi Avenue between Sacramento and School Streets. ORDINANCE NO. 170 - " AN 03..'I`?ANCE REPEALING CERTAIN ORD- INANCES AND PARTS OF OR.DI::ANCBS AND ESTABLISHING RATES FOR THE SALE OF ELECTRIC ENERGY BY THE CITY OF LODI" .was regularly intr- oduced on motion of Councilman ;leihe, Shattuck secor_ and+by the same motion, laid over for the statutory period of not less than five days; motion carried by unanimous vote. On motion of Councilman Hale, Shattuck second, the City Council adjourned until the day and hour of their next regular meeting to be held ? ay 6th. ,1929. ._:test e7/"' City Clerk.
