session at 5.05 o'clock ?.:'. on ,he date and at the place
first abcve :written, Cotnoi men =ale, poach, Shattuck, 7eihs
and Spooner present, none absent.
The minutes of the regular meeting of January 21 ,1929
were read, approved as read and so endorsed by the 'Eayor.
No persons being in attendance, the order of Public
Hearings was passed and the Council proceeded to hear com-
munications a?.d reports.
Reports of the City Pourdmaster and the Chief of Police
collaring the month of January were received, read and order-
ed filed.
The Secretary of Lodi Volunteer Fire Department advised
the City Council bynletter that the Salary of the Secretary
had been increased :ren 55.00 to 10.00 monthly. On motion
duly made and carried, the Clerk was instructed to notify the
Department that this increase could not be recon ized, no
request having been received for an additional appropriation
for this purpose.
ine Council also received a letter from the Fire Depart-
ment notifying them of changee changein the organization of the
.department which was orderer filed without cc n ent.
Specifications covering ;he public nrintirg of the City
for the fiscal year ending De ce`ber 31,1929 were presented
by the City Clerk and on eirg read, were ordered -approved
_and adopted by the passage of Resolution No. 570 by the fol-
lowing vote :-

communication from Mr. Nelson A. Ecnart stating that
his fee for reporting on the feasibility of the Colorado
Power Company site lately acceeired by the City for Dower -en-
orati e• purPoses would be $1,000.00 was laid over for further
consideration.
'.'r. Y. J. Robinson Jr. representing Joodbridge Irrigation
District addressed the Council on alleged additional expense
placed on the district by. reason of the flo.:age of storm and
sewage -waters in their main line canal. After same discussion,
the matter was referred to the 09nmittee of the :thole,

his private automobile used in connection with the CityPound.

erred to the City Attorney for ;iia opinion as to their mean-
