Tie City Council of the City of Lodi met in adjourned

total bid amounted to $2,041.78.

bid of $2,224.25
As Jules Perrin's bid was the lowest received? award of
contract to hLi '.'as made by the Passage of Resolution No. 547
by the following vote: -

Jn mason addressed a cu::_.:nication to the Council advoc-
ating;he City's purchase of the J?iti Lake property for 'nark
purposes stating that it could be•secured for about $18,000.
after discussing this proposition, the Clerk was directed to
reply to Mr Lason stating -that the City's a_�proariations for
_oa.rk purposes :fere e�nausted and that, in view of coming
expenses on the Library, the 'purchase could not be considered
at this time. -

wheel hose reel to L ockeford Fire Protection for the sum of
$1.00 was authorized.

Cn notion of Councilman Shattuck, Roach second, the Clerk
was directed to notify California Co-operative producers that
the City :could assume no responsibility for disposal of canner
waste for the coming season.
The Clerk was directed to advertise for sealed bids for
an adding machine for use of the City Treasurer on ~motion of
Council an :'eihe, Shattuck second.
