This resular meetP.M.ng of the Board of Trustees of the City
of Lodi las called to order by the .resident at 8.00 on the
date first above.written, all members present on roll call.
No persons appearing, the order of Public Hearings was
passed by'unanimous consent.
The minutes of the regular meeting of October 18th.,1926
were read, approved as read and so endorsed by the President.
A co !nunication from the City Council of the City of San
Jose soliciting support against Proposition No. 2 on the ballot
forlgovemher 2nd. aas ordered filed.
Reports of the '_'oundrnaster and City Marshal for the month
of October were read and _ordred filed.
The report of the City Clerk covering financial transact-
ions for the quarter ended September 30th.,1926 was read and
ordered filed.
2 The Clerk las instructed to canmunicate with Southern
Pacific Company as to the maintaining of a flag -man at the i.+Hm
Street crossing throughout the year.
On :lotion of Trustee Shattuck, seconded by Trustee Weihe,
the Street Superintendent .gas directed to have the California
Automobile Association er^ct and maintain "Boulevard Stop"
signs at fourteen intersections with main highways at -a cost of
$4.00 each.
Fcur building permits aggregating $3,250.00 were allowed.
The City Attorney, presented a resolution authorisinghim
to file a disclaimer on behalf of the City in a suit filed -by
Marrietta R. Flora seeking to quiet title to a parcel of land
north of Block 42 of Mokelunne. Oh motion of Trustee Shattuck,
seconded by Trustee +eihe, the resolution was adopted by unan-
imous vote.
Bills in the amount of $10,636.87 were allowed as audited
on motion of Trustee Shattuck, seconded by Trustee Roach.
Cn motion of Trustee Teihe, seconded by Trustee Shattuck,
persons contemplating installation of air heating devices for
commercial heating were assured that the Board would amend
existing ordinances so as to give them the benefit of the "off-
peak" rate.
Cn motion of Trustee .!eihe, the Board adjourned.
