Trois regular meeting of the Board of.Trustees of the City of Lodi was called to order at 8.05 o'clock P.N. on the date first above written, Trustees Hale, Roach .Jeihe and Spooner present, Trustee Shattuck absent on account of illness. The minutes of the previous regular meeting held October 4th., 1926 were read, approved as read and so endorsed by the President. In the matter of the application of Angelo Costa for exten- sion of server lines to his property on ,lest Lockeford Street. on motion of Trustee ,Jeihe seconded by Trustee Roach, the Super- intendent of Public Utilities was directed to lay sewer mains to connect un this property along the route designated by him to the Board -as the most feasible route. In the matter of the improvement of portions of Main St- reet, Lockeford Street, Stockton Street and ,7ashington Street as undertaken pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 70: it being the date set by notices posted and published for hearing of protests against the issuance of bonds to represent unpe:id assessments and the Clerk reporting no protests filed the issuance of bonds was aooroved by the passage of Resolution No. 70-H "An Order Providing for the Issuance of Street Improve- ment Bonds, Prescribing the tDenomination of Such Bonds and of the Interest Coupons Attacned Thereto by the following vote: - AYES: Trustees, Hale, °.eihe, Roach and Sooner. NOES: Trustees, None. ABSENT: Trustee, Shattuck. - Proceedings- in the Natter of the Improvement of Pine Street as heretofore undertaken under Resolution of Intention No. 71 having reached a similar stage to those on Lockeford Street, the Board authorized the issuance of bonds, there being no protests, by the passage of Resolution No. 71-H of the same tenor as the previous resolution but a.;plying to Pine Street, by the following vote: - AYES: Trustees, Roach,+'eihe4Hale and Spooner. NOES: Trustees, None. ABSENT: Trustee Shattuck. Gil motion of Trustee ieihe, seconded by Trustee Roach, the City Engineer was directed to definitely establish the ex- terior lines of the road -way leading to the City's dumping grounds on the M okelunne River and the Street Superintendent was authorized to notify abutting owners that, unless they desisted from encroaching on this road -way, the City would proceed to fence the same. Fourteen building permits aggregating in value $7,250.00 were granted. Bills in the amount of $2,905.97 as aJnroved by a majority of the finance commitOe ,were allowed and ordered paid on motion of Trustee Hale, seconded by Trustee Roach. At the sly estion of the President and on motion of Trustee Roach, seconded -by Trustee Jeihe, the Superintendent of Streets was directed to arrange a plan and district the City so as to provide a regular collection of leaves falling from trees plant- ed on the parking spaces adjacent to the side,ralks and also to publish notices of•the days of collection.
