The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of
Lodi for the third Londay in September was called to order by the
President at 6.0D o'clock P.N. on the above date, Trustees Hale,
Roach, Shattuck and Spooner present, Trustee Mettler absent.
The minutes of the regular meeting of September 8th were
read, approved as read and sa endorsed by the President.
Er. Y.T.Flyrn of -the Yarbelite Corporation of America
presented a petition purporting to be from owners of property
fronting 2,275 feet on Central Avenue asking that 1:arbelite
standards be installed along said Central Avenue. _,roceedings
to be taken under the "Improvement ent rict of 1911". The petition
pas referred to Committee of the 'Whole.
On motion of Trustee Hale, seconded by Trustee Roach,
Er. D. H. Acker• gas appointed a Leputy Larshal for the City
as verbally recommended by City Marshal Christesen, this
appointment to be in place of J. E. Reid, lately separated from
the service.

JULY 1 - 1926" having been introduced September 8th,1925
was brought up for passage and on motion of Trustee Hale,
seconded -by Trustee Shattuck and unanimously carried, the
same was passed and adopted and ordered to print. The
President then aaproved and signed the ordinance as passed.
The City Clerk submitted his annual report for the fiscal
year ending June 30-1926 and at the order of the President, the
same was ordered printed one time in "The Lodi News".
Fourteen building permits grossing $7,135.00 were granted.
Bilis amounting to $3,236.01 as approved by a majority of
the finance committee were ordered paid on motion of Trustee
Shattuck seconded by Trustee Roach.
The proposal of S. Beronio in the matter of obtaining more
land for the intersection of Lockeford and Church Streets was
again brought to the attention of the Board,' this time by
Superintendent J. A. Henning, and the proposal was referred to
City Engineer E. F. Barzeilotti with instruction to reduce
the proposition to exiting and diagram so that intelligent
action might be taken.
