This re alar meet'ng of the Bead of Trustees of the City
of Lodi was called to order at 8.10 o'clock P.r. on the date and
at the place first herein written, Trustees dale, l ettler, Roach,
Shattuck and Spooner _resent, none absent.
The minutes of the regular meeting of August 17th.,1925 were
read, a•proved as read and so endorsed by the President.
J. H.'gaiter a:^eareti in the ratter of the installation of
electric lighting standards in the Lodi Barnhart Tract north o:
Toy Street and presented several petit -ons therefore signed by
property owners favoring the "':arbelite" standard.
J. E. Baker asked that proceedings in the matter of the o,en-
irg of the alley south of Block 2, Willow Tract be expedited; the
City Clerk reported that deeds had been prepared but that but
few owners had signed them.
City'''arshal Christesen asked that the Board consider the
placing of a license tax on taxi -cabs in the City: the matter was
referred to Coenittee of the 7Ihale,
On motion of Trustee i._ettler, seconded by Trustee Roach, the
Cit; Marshal was authorized to expend not to exceed $50.00 in
cleaning up and re -furnishing the City Jail.
• Reports from the City 1'arshal and from the acting Poundmaster
were submitted, read and ordered filed."
The Clerk read a communication from the City Planning Comm-
ission

Cemeta_Ty" be.accepted and or. motion of Trustee Shattuck, seconded
by Trustee Hale, Resolution No. 82 :ras duly passed and adopted
a_proving the plat as a legal subdivision.
in: the matter of the opening of California Street as under-
taken pursuant to Resclution of Intention No. 481 finally passed
June 15th., 1925, the Board crlered the work and a;pointed the
Commissioners to act therein_ by the passage of Resolution Order -
:Lag The ;fork No. 483 by the following vote: -
AYES: Trustees , Shattuck, Lettler, Hale, Roach and Spooner.
FOES: Trustees , None. ABSENT: Trustees, None.
On motion of Trustee Mettier, the President of the Board was
authorized to execute a contract with California Filter Company

covering; purchases of liquid "C"h=orine" for the year be -inning
