Monday,January 5 - 1925
The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of
the City of -Lodi for the first Monday in January 1925 was
called to order by the President at 8.10 o'clock P.M. on the
above date; Trustees Hale, Mettler, Roach, Shattuck and
Spooner present.
The minutes of the regular meeting of December
15th.,1924 were read, approved as read and so endorsed by
the President.
The order of Public Hearings and Protests was
passed by unanimous Consent.
Communications: -
The Board received a letter from L.F.Barzellotti
Secretary of the City Planning Commission:advising them that
the terns of office of Mrs. J.A.Henning and Mrs. Claire Per-
cival had expired on the first of the month; there being no
opposition, the President ordered the two members re -appoint-
ed for the two year term beginning January lst.,1925.
Reports for December from City Marshal F. Christ -
sen, Plumbing Inspector J.A.Henning and Fire Chief E.H.Stark
vvere submitted, read and ordered filed.
The Xisler Audit Bureau asked that a committee
confer with their representative regarding an audit of City
Accounts,; no action taken.
At the request of the City Clerk, the salary of
Vis;. Nellie Griffith, clerk in the .rater and light department
:,as increased to $1C0.00 per month. on motion of Trustee
Shattuck, seconded by Trustee Hale.
The Clerk ,ias instructed to have a telephone
other than the fire phone installed at the Maple Square Fire
House.

Bills amounting to $14,317.45 as audited by the
finance committee were ordered paid on motion of Trustee
Shattuck, seconded by Trustee Mettler.
Ten building permits for dr,ellings and garages
to cost $9,325.00 were granted.
On motion of Trustee Shattuck, the Board adjourned.
