CITY HALL - CITY OF LODI
TUESDAY, JUNE 26, 1945
Pursuant to the adjournment regularly taken from its regular meeting
of June 20, 1945, the City Council of the City of Lodi met in adjourned
regular meeting at 7:30 o'clock P.M.
Councilmen .i.J.Coffield, J.B. Riggs, Harry J. Tolliver, Otto A. :ieihe
and Mayor Robert H. ?.inn present. None absent.
., pro-osal from Clinton Henning, former City Engineer, setting forth
the terms and conditions under which he would return to that position,
having been considered in executive session of :he Council on June 20th,
and action thareon delayed until this time was discussed in detail, Mr
Henning being present.
--Pith the consent of 1r Henning, the word unanimous in the fourth from
the last paragraph and in the last paragraph was stricken from the offer,
and on motion duly made and seconded, the offer was accepted by the follow-
ing record vote:
AYES: Councilmen,':ieihe, Coffield, Riggs and Rinn
NOS: Councilman, Tolliver.
ABSENT: C juncilmen,None
Mr Tolliver based his objection to the acceptance on the percentages
set forth in paragraphs ".i", "B" and "C" of the offer. -
The City Clerk reported that the sum of 38 902.60 had been received
this day as the City's apportionment of Motor Vehicle License Fees for the
period July 1 1944 to March 31, 1945, and on motion of Councilman deihe,
Coffield secol}d, Resolution No. 1234, directing the City Treasurer to
purchase Series C, Treasury Savings Notes in the amount of $9 000 from
the "In Lieu Tax Fund", into which fund the above receipts had been paid,
was adopted by unanimous vote.
On motion. of Councilmen ''+eihe, the City Council then adjourned.
