PU?=IC lr: aRIPcGS - !r. C. Frady of Pacific Greyhound Lines a:idressed the Council
briefly in suc;port of that companys application for a certificate of public
convenience and necessity to operate bus lines via Tenn-inous. He stated, that
schedules of arrival and departure wculd be eventually adjusted to suit the
pa senger traffic needs and, should the City Council decide to leave the
natter in its present condition, he was confident that the State Railroad
Commission's decision would be acceptable to his company.
Billy Hunefeld, by letter and personally, requested per.^i_sion to use
.Lodi Stadium for :.fidget auto races as soon as the Federal Governnent should
release present restrictions. Yr F:unefeld was assured that such use vrould
be permitted, subject to the prior rights of Lodi Union High School and of
local a'7piicants for use of the Stadium.

title, second r?,ding was omitted by unanimous consent .and this Ordinance was
then sassed, adopted and ordered to print by the follovring vote:

assistant City 3n ineer Singer was directed to ascertain if any other
parsons or firms would be interested in securing the contract for purchase of
sewage sludge from the City's Sewage Disposal Plant and so i_-iform the Council
as the present contract with C. L. Gaither would expire Jure 30th next.
'eneera! of the present agreement with Fred and Dorothea Gessler for a period -
of one year from November 30, 1945 was directed on motion of Councilman Coffield,
Tolliver second.
Mayor P_inn was em -cowered to secure services of a right -of --gray agent to
speed the securing rights of way for the sevrage outfall line, City Attorney
Gienn :Test having submitted a tentative form for securing the desired easement
through the land on one Viara.
A protosed for,, of agreement to alloy Estella M. Smith and Charles H. Smith
to place pCPping equipment on city land abutting on their property was approved
and the Clerk directed to submit the same to Miss and Lr Smith for execution.
