Cn motion of Councilman Coffield, Tolliver second, all bids on this lot were rejected, the Council considering that the high bid of $675.00 made by Angelo Dickoff was not a true measure of the value of this lot. Parcel 2 of the 11"ctice" Cn motion of Councilman To:liver, Riggs second, the amended proposal of Christ Brodehl and J. Klemin in the net amount of $1 995 -CO was accepted. Parcel 3 of the "Notice".Christian Rageth being the sole bidder and his bid being considered as equal to the actual value, his offer of $502.50 was accepted on motion of Councilman Rigs, Coffield second. Parcel 4 of the "Notice". The proposal of Abraham Bawabach in the amount of M1 COO being the hi hest and best bid was ordered accepted on motion of Councilman Coffield, •-'eihe second. Parcel 5 of the "Notice". The bid of Paul Bloschee, sole bidder, in the amount of $150.00 was accepted on this lot on motion of Councilman Coffield, Rigs second. The claim of.Herman S. Martin for $25 405.06 for alleged damages and expense occasioned by the accidental death of his son Duane Martin at the Municipal Baths July 12, 1944 oras rejected on advice of the City Attorney and ordered referred to the City's insurance carrier; this was done on motion of Councilman Coffield, Tolliver second and carried by unanimous vote. Singer Jr presented an oral report of the annual conference of the Pacific Coast Building Officials held at Fresno Cctobe- 3 to 5th., particularly stressing points brought out at this meet- ing relating to reconcilement of building laws and zoning regulations and also the er.iorcement of housing laws that might obviate condemnation pro- ceedings in dilapidated buildings. :.d:.CUTIVS S 33ION — At 9:31 o'clock ? OF *1 MEETING P?SMED - At 11:00 o'clock P.M., on return to open meeting, it was moved by Councilman Tolliver, Coffield second, that the services of A.F.Harrison Company he secured to audit the city's accounts for the two fiscal years last past, the cost not to exceed the sum of 5950.00.
