tiontion
to this ._atter and report on their ability to attend at the next
Council meeting'.
5. A _uetation on filter plates for the Seware Disnosal Plant
from . offices of General_ Filtration Company was accepted and the
City Tnv -_e__ directed to order 500 plates of the permeability desired.

eived from the City of Lodi. The Cierk was directed to reply that this
City had collected 1,330 pounds in cne shipment via City truck and one
of about 50 ncunds by San :oaquin County Trick and delivered the sane to
the San Toacuin County Headquarters.

y guesting ._..attendance of Fire Chief Earl May at its annual conference
and school to be hell in Reno, Nevada September 8, 9 & 10th. 0n motion
of Councilman Dull, Ri_s second, the Fire Chief was directed to attend,
his expenses to be paid by the City.

_-tempts to close camp gro'_n_ds for transient laborers in this City.
9. A letter from John A Hernia;, Superintendent cf Public
Utilities recommending the acquisition of a site and the installation of
another well in the Southern part of the City. Yr Henning was directed
to prerere s:eoificatons for pump and rotor, together with connecting
water and electric lines and present the same to the Council at its next
meeting so that advertisement for bids could be had.
The City Clerk submitted his annual re ort of the financial
t_=_nsect'_ons cf the City for ,he year ended Tu1e 30, 1941 and on motion
of Cc'anci?r_an Wcihe, Riggs second, the s_._... was ordered received and
nrirted in accordance with law.
No reports from Committees of the Council were received but

Festival Association as contemplated on August 5th.
