This regular meeting of the Cit;; Council of the
Cit-- of Lodi was called to order by the =•-ayor on mune 5,
19:0, Councilmen Eu1L, Graifisna, ri--s, '+ie'_he and Steele,
present, none absent.

James Culbertson orally applied for sewer
and 'rater service in the Culbertson Tract south of Hutchins

Club reported on tine recent meet held in the Lodi Stadium
and presented a check for ;106.55 representing 2,015 full
paid admissions and ilb hal, tickets as the city's share
of the receipts.
Steele presented and filed a letter from

recent convention of the C.S.r+.A, at Catalina.
On motion of Councilman Graffigna, seconded by
Councilman ++eihe, the Clerk was directed to notify the
United States Geoloical Survey that the city desired to
continue the existinn cooperative a:reenent for the study
of -round crater to cover the next fiscal year, the estimated
burden to be borne by the City being Y1,000.
The application of C. A. Zinser and others for
the grading and oiling of Lee iver_ue was ordered laid
over until the Cit- could obtain deeds to part of the 'street.
On motion of uouncilnan Weihe, seconded by
Councilman Graffigna, the :,-ayor was authorized to execute an
agreement with the student body of the Lodi Jnion High School
for the use of the stadium.
At thiF time bids for the purchase of chlorinating
apparatus were opened. The only bid received was from the
:allace c Tiernan Sales Corporation and on motion of
Coy:ncilran i ---s, seconded by Councilman +eihe, the contract
was awarded to that con -pang.
