HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Report - October 15, 1997 (107)AGENDA TITLE: Appointment to the Lodi Planning Commission MEETING DATE: October 15, 1997 PREPARED BY: City Clerk RECOMMENDED ACTION: That Council, by motion action, concur with the Mayor's recommended appointment to the Lodi Planning Commission to be effective November 1, 1997. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: At the City Council meeting of April 16, 1997, the Council directed the City Clerk to post for expiring terms on various boards and commissions. There is currently one position on the Lodi Planning Commission that remains unfilled. Following review of the applications, I recommend that the following person be appointed to the Commission effective November 1, 1997: Lodi Planning Commission Tim Mattheis Term to expire June 30, 2001 1 Phillip A. It will be necessary for you to complete a Form 700 - Conflict of Interest Assuming Office Statement (copy attached) no later than 30 days from the effective date of your appointment (due December 1, 1997). The original statement will be forwarded to the Fair Political Practices Commission (FFPC) and a file copy will be retained in the City Clerk's office.
