M. on the date first above written; all members of the City Council, to -wit, Councilmen Clark, Graffigna, Spooner, weihe and Mayor Steele being present and signing written consent to the meeting and waiver of formal notiwe thereto in the usual form. The Clerk read a proposed agreement submitted by the Department of Public works of the State of California in accordance with an application heretofore submitted by , the City Council for the expenditure of gasoline tax moneys for major streets on the opening and improvement of Tokay Street and Church Street, and oh motion of Councilman Spooner, seconded by Councilman Graffigna, Resolution No. 962 was introduced: RESCLUTION NO. 962 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LODI APERCVING MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR EXPENDITURE OF 1/I. CENT GAS TAX ALLOCATED FOR STREETS OF MAJOR IMPORTANCE. WHEREAS, the btate of Calirornia, through its Department of Public.Works, Division of Highways, has - presented a memorandum of agreement in accordance with a project statement submitted by the City for expenditure of the 1/4 cent gas tax for the fiscal year 1938 allocated for Streets of Major Importance other than State highways in the City of Lodi, and UTEREAS, the City Council has heard read said agreement in full and is fathiliar with the contents thereof, and desires to approve the same; THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Lodi that said agreement for expenditure of 1/4 cent gas tax allocated for Streets of Major Importance other than State highways be and the same is hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are directed to sign the same on behalf of said City. At the order of the Mayor, none dissenting, the City Council then adjourned.
