The City Cooncil of tete Cit; of Lodi met in re alar
session at C:00 O'clock P.M. of Monday, March 7, 1958.
Councilmen Clark, Gra_':_` na, SOoorer, 'oieihe and Steele, being
all members o-' the GIty CO'_:nci1 were present on roll call.
The minutes of the last rer'ular r:eetinz held on
February G1, 193b were read, aprroved as read and so indorsed
by the ..-a, or.
Ceorge D. _ olens•_e applied on oehalf of the Lodi
Softball tissociation for the installation of toilet and
drin__ir_:contain facilities in the City's Softball Courts.
Mr. clenske tendered the pity a check for c150.60 as the
City's share of the proceeds of the last softball season and
iled therewith a financial statement. At the direction

the =•-ayor, the installation of oil t facilities at the Par:_
was referred to the City L_sineer for the preparation of
_o-:er clans _.._ estimates.
Mr. .i_laim McAllen applied by letter and orally
for permission to analyze the City's liability insurance
policies, satin that hi:3 fee therefore would be =LC.00
which t' i_:ht be ret':.rned in premiums saved. i•.O action taken.
The Clerk reported that notices had been received
from the State Hoard of Lcua i ization of the aLplieat_on of
el10 ='ena for a license to sell lice or at llor th Cherokee
Lane.

ornia as -Iced that they be allo;ed a room in the City Hall
for hearin_2s. The matter was referred to the City Clerk to
obtain further information.

stated that this had been done lately.
'.:he Council received an offer from J. A. Barer of
Merced of two bobcats to be placed in the City Zoo.

the ctmplete alteration could be made at a cost of

by Councilman Spooner, it was moved that the work be one as

sideration to allow the City Attorney, Glenn 0st, to
