Councilmen T.A.HaskeJl, Geo.'X.Lytle, N.E.Riggs, H.3.Tolliver and Robert H.Rinn,Kayor, present, none absent. :.:inutes of the last meeting held April 17,1945 were read, approved as read and so endorsed by the layor. PUBLIC H&A.ZINGS - Z.r A. 0. Pauley, Director of Recreation requested that the PyUI.Y City make no charge for use of the ball park in Lawrence Park =-W;CB PARK this season. On motion of Councilmen Riggs, Tolliver second, B:,LI. DI_;: ID request granted, users to stand all expenses od such use save the usual maintenance performed by the City. The preparation of en ordinance vacating -Palm Avenue from Lincoln Avenue to California Street was ordered for submission at the next meeting after the City .i*to.-.ey had investigated the effect of such vacation on the two alleys crossing this portion of Palm Avenue.
